I’m sick and tired of
people making profit and being rich. Honestly it is really not something you can base your life on. Yes I agree, money allows you to do loads of things. But why do loads of ‘things’ if they have no meaning to you? Creating purpose is definitely something a lot people of my generation and gen Z struggle with. At least I think so. And so do a lot of them in my network. So that’s exactly why I invest my time into a new kind of economy. Let me introduce;
Economy of Meaning
In Dutch this would be ‘Betekeniseconomie’. In short, an economy which is based on meaning. The baker bakes his bread because he believes that there is meaning to his work. The same goes for Tony Chocolonely. They create slavery free chocolate because there is meaning to it.
